DATA VIEWER

The data viewer is a composite window that IPLT uses to diplay images. When a data viewer opens, the image being displayed is shown on the left. On the right, context-sensitive panels are diplayed. Such panels provide the user with a wide range of information, including statistics about the image and about any overlay that is diplayed on top of it, mouse position in the image reference system, size and limits of selected areas, etc. Other panels show a zoomed-in view of the area around the cursor or an Argand plot of the pixel values in a selected areas (for Fourier Space images).
